Zhao Haijun, Co-CEO of SMIC, remarked during the earnings call that the company experienced a surge in production capacity and shipment volumes in the third quarter. This growth was driven by the accelerating transformation of industrial chains and the continuous replenishment of channel inventories. Given the increased complexity of manufacturing processes for the shipped products, the average selling price climbed by 3.8% quarter-on-quarter in Q3. While Q4 is traditionally considered an off-season for the industry, and customer stockpiling has eased, the iterative impacts of the industrial chain continue to fuel robust demand, outstripping production line supply. The company projects that its full-year sales revenue will exceed $9 billion, achieving another notable milestone in revenue scale.
