On the afternoon of the 6th, during a routine press briefing, He Yadong, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, fielded inquiries from journalists concerning matters related to Nexperia. He underscored that the Dutch authorities' unwarranted interference in Nexperia's internal operations has triggered instability and disruption within the global semiconductor manufacturing and supply networks. Despite the Chinese side's repeated and reasonable requests during consultations, the Dutch government did not show a positive or cooperative stance, nor did it take any constructive steps. Rather, it exacerbated the supply chain crisis, and thus, should assume full accountability.

The Chinese side has swiftly approved pertinent export license applications submitted by Chinese exporters and has granted exemptions for qualified exports, actively working to promote the resumption of Nexperia (China)'s supply operations. The Chinese side expresses the hope that the Dutch side will, with a view to protecting the broader interests of China-Netherlands and China-EU economic and trade relations, as well as the stability and security of global production and supply chains, halt its meddling in the affairs of enterprises and instead seek constructive resolutions to the issues surrounding Nexperia.
