On the evening of October 17, Goertek released an announcement revealing its decision to terminate the planned acquisition. The original plan was to purchase a 100% stake in Mia Precision Technology Co., Ltd. and Changhong Industrial Co., Ltd., both of which are subsidiaries of Lianfeng Commercial Group, at a cost of approximately HK$10.4 billion (equivalent to about RMB 9.5 billion). According to the announcement, the two parties failed to reach a consensus on crucial terms. Consequently, after engaging in amicable negotiations, they mutually agreed to terminate the acquisition. The company emphasized that this termination will not exert any negative influence on its operational performance or financial standing. Moreover, it will not compromise the interests of the company and all its shareholders.
