On Tuesday, data was released indicating that in the third quarter of 2025, Samsung Electronics' total revenue from memory chip sales soared to US$19.4 billion, marking a 25% increase on a quarterly basis. This remarkable performance enabled Samsung to reclaim the top position in the global memory chip market, wresting it back from SK Hynix. In comparison, during the same quarter, SK Hynix reported memory chip sales amounting to US$17.5 billion, representing a 13% year-on-year growth.
