Intel: Announces New Business Leaders for Data Center and Other Divisions; Product Division CEO to Exit

On September 8th (local time), Intel unveiled a slate of executive changes: Kevork Kechichian has taken the helm as the leader of the Data Center Group. Prior to this role, he served as Executive Vice President of Engineering at Arm. Jim Johnson will step into the role of leading the Client Computing Group, following his stint as its interim head. Srini Iyengar is set to lead the newly formed Central Engineering Group; he previously held a senior global position in silicon engineering at Cadence Design Systems.

At the same time, Intel has broadened the scope of responsibilities for Naga Chandrasekaran, who serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Global Operations Officer, and General Manager of Foundry Services. His expanded role now encompasses wafer foundry services.

Additionally, Michelle Johnston Holthaus, who has been the CEO of Intel Products, is set to leave the company.
