The Huawei Pura 80 series has recently undergone a significant update to HarmonyOS 5.1.0.217 SP2, with a notable change on the phone's "About Phone" page—the reintroduction of the Kirin chip model. This marks the first time since Huawei's resurgence in 2023 that it has openly revealed the chip model on its mobile devices. It also signifies the return of the "HUAWEI Kirin" logo on Huawei phones, following a five-year absence since the Kirin 9000. Specifically, the Pura 80 is powered by the Kirin 9010S chip, while the Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+, and Pura 80 Ultra all boast the Kirin 9020 chip.
