On July 24, ByteDance officially launched its end-to-end simultaneous interpretation model, Seed LiveInterpret 2.0, specializing in bidirectional translations between Chinese and English. This model boasts translation accuracy and response speed that rival professional human interpreters. In multi-person meeting scenarios, it achieves an accuracy rate exceeding 70%, while for solo speeches, the accuracy soars above 80%. Remarkably, its delay is as minimal as 2-3 seconds, closely mirroring the performance of seasoned interpreters.
