On June 18, Guangzhou inaugurated its pioneering China-Europe Train Express Line dedicated to e-commerce, signaling a new era in cross-border trade. The train, laden with approximately RMB 330,000 worth of export goods tailored for e-commerce, departed from Guangzhou under the watchful eye of Zengcheng Customs, a division of Huangpu Customs. The diverse cargo, comprising clothing and small household appliances, embarked on a journey that will see it traverse China and exit via the Khorgos Port, ultimately reaching Italy in just 13 days.
This innovative express line underscores Guangzhou's commitment to fostering a direct, efficient pathway for cross-border e-commerce products to seamlessly reach European markets, effectively doubling the speed of traditional sea freight methods.
