Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has unveiled its financial report for the first quarter of 2025, boasting a revenue of $90.23 billion, marking a 12% increase year-over-year. Net income soared significantly by 46% to $34.54 billion. Within its various segments, advertising revenue stood at $66.89 billion, while cloud business revenue reached $12.26 billion. On the front of AI applications, Google CEO Sundar Pichai disclosed that more than 30% of the company's internal code is now AI-assisted, up from the previously mentioned 25%. Despite a 17% decline in Google's stock price this year, shares surged by over 5% in after-hours trading following the earnings report.
