On October 20th, news emerged that Jiangsu Province has recently unveiled its "Action Plan for Crafting High-Quality Datasets for Physical AI and World Models in Jiangsu Province (2026-2028)". This strategic blueprint aims to bolster the exemplary role of provincial enterprises in dataset construction by refining the data categorization and grading management framework and establishing a comprehensive data resource system that spans the entire business spectrum. The plan advocates for leading enterprises to delve into scenario-based data extraction in sectors like energy and road networks, construct top-tier physical AI datasets, and foster synchronized industrial chain advancement through consortiums. Concurrently, an open-sharing and inclusive mechanism will be instituted to offer legally authorized usage services to small and medium-sized enterprises, academic institutions, and startup ventures, thereby slashing data acquisition and utilization expenses and encouraging widespread data repurposing across the sector.
