On October 16, the WeChat official account 'Ping'an Shapingba' issued a notice, revealing three representative cases involving online false information and malicious acts targeting enterprises. The notice highlighted the actions of Wang, a 38-year-old netizen, who, seeking attention, utilized AI software to create misleading articles. He concocted unfounded claims, such as alleging that a particular automaker's vehicle 'crashed into a guardrail during autonomous driving and shifted the blame to the driver,' and disseminated these online. This led to widespread misunderstandings, panic, and disrupted the online environment. Currently, Wang has been subjected to administrative detention in accordance with legal procedures.
