According to a Reuters report, on Thursday (local time), Meta introduced the open-weight iteration of its Muse Spark artificial intelligence model, named Muse Spark Open, specifically tailored for programming and AI agent development. This model is a powerhouse, boasting an impressive total of 816 billion parameters, out of which 42 billion are actively utilized. It also supports an expansive context window of 1 million tokens. Remarkably, it stands as the inaugural model of its caliber capable of operating on two Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios. Meta has articulated that this strategic move is geared towards enhancing developers' capabilities to download and customize the technology to suit their specific needs.
