ChatGPT, a product of OpenAI, and the interactive entertainment platform Roblox, both boasting over 45 million monthly active users within the EU, are set to fall under the purview of the EU's Digital Services Act. The European Commission is anticipated to classify both as Very Large Online Platforms as soon as August this year. Subsequently, they will be required to comply with the most stringent regulatory standards, continually enhancing their content moderation, transparency reporting, and risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, they will be subject to more rigorous and regular compliance monitoring and evaluations by the EU.
