Earlier this month, Moonshot AI, based in Beijing, unveiled its open-source model, Kimi K3. Boasting a staggering 2.8 trillion parameters and the ability to support a context window of up to 100 million tokens, Kimi K3 demonstrates exceptional proficiency in code generation, document processing, and agent benchmark tests. It clinched the top spot in the Frontend Code Arena evaluation with a score of 1679, outperforming models like Claude Fable 5, and secured leading positions across multiple subfields. Moreover, Kimi K3 introduces a distinctive billing model that effectively balances cost and performance. Moonshot AI has also made three pivotal infrastructure technologies—MoonEP, FlashKDA, and AgentEnv—open-source, further propelling the advancement of AI technology.
