YOFC's Hong Kong-listed shares surged by as much as 22% in early trading, marking the biggest gain in over three weeks. Previously, Morgan Stanley upgraded its rating on YOFC's H shares to Overweight, believing that the recent valuation retracement offers an attractive entry opportunity. The bank noted that YOFC's H shares have fallen by approximately 50% from their June peak, but their earnings growth trajectory remains unchanged, supported by the AI-driven fiber optic supercycle. The positive earnings outlook makes it highly probable that the bank's full-year earnings forecast of RMB 7.5 billion will be achieved, with the target price maintained at HKD 230.
