Recently, the embodied AI company “DexRobot” announced that it has successfully raised hundreds of millions of yuan in Series A funding, with Shanghai Electric as a key investor. This achievement underscores the sustained interest from both industrial and financial sectors. By 2026, DexRobot will have completed both its Angel Round and Series A funding rounds. The newly acquired funds will be primarily allocated to the research and development of full-stack technology for dexterous manipulation, the enhancement of core products, and their application and implementation across three key sectors: education, power, and industry. Additionally, the funds will support the construction of a robust industrial ecosystem. Moreover, Shanghai Electromechanical, a subsidiary of Shanghai Electric, has collaborated with DexRobot to establish two joint ventures—DexMotion and DexLink—with a combined registered capital exceeding 100 million yuan. These ventures will specialize in the mass production of core components and the development of industrial scenario solutions, respectively, signifying DexRobot's transition from the technology research and development stage to the industrial scale delivery phase.
