OpenAI recently introduced a new AI agent feature called ChatGPT Work, powered by the latest GPT-5.6 model. This feature upgrades ChatGPT from a conversational tool to an automated assistant capable of deeply participating in enterprise workflows. After users input their ultimate goals, ChatGPT Work can autonomously break down tasks, formulate plans, and automatically generate documents, spreadsheets, or presentations. It can also continuously follow up on complex projects for hours. Currently, this feature is available on macOS and Windows desktops and is being rolled out in batches to users on paid plans such as Plus and Enterprise.
