Recently, Guangdong and Anhui provinces have rolled out a series of action plans aimed at fostering the development of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). These plans encompass technological advancements, clinical applications, and the nurturing of industrial clusters. Additionally, they have refined supportive policies to further solidify the domestic policy framework for the BCI industry. As these policy benefits are gradually unlocked, investment and financing activities within the industry have surged.
Notably, NeuraXen, a prominent hard-tech company, has reached the inquiry phase for its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. Meanwhile, Xiangyu Medical, an A-share listed rehabilitation equipment company, has unveiled its private placement strategy to strengthen its foothold in the BCI rehabilitation sector. Industry experts have highlighted that specialized policies across various regions have paved the way for industrialization. With a continuous influx of projects in both primary and secondary markets, the BCI industry has transcended the realm of mere conceptual speculation and has entered a new era of commercialization, driven by the synergy of policies, industries, and capital. Enterprises possessing the capability for medical clinical translation are anticipated to attract heightened investor interest.
