Fueled by record-breaking issuance activities from SpaceX and Alphabet, Wall Street bankers are riding high, with expectations for deal activity elevated for the remainder of 2026. As of June 26, the total U.S. IPO and stock issuance volume has reached $251 billion (excluding blank-check companies and other investment vehicles), surpassing the six-month peak seen during the 2021 issuance boom. Currently, more deals are in the pipeline, including IPO plans scheduled for the coming weeks and a potential mega-fundraising by Anthropic PBC as early as October. Additionally, other forms of financing, such as convertible debt, are expected to continue as 'hyperscale AI companies' increasingly seek funds to support the construction of data centers and other infrastructure.
