On June 16, 2026, Ali rolled out the ‘Consciousness’ feature for its desktop AI assistant, QoderWork. This new addition encompasses three key modules: memory, reflection, and skill evolution. With this feature, the AI can proactively manage and filter out redundant information, converting frequently performed tasks into reusable skills. The memory system is structured hierarchically, and the reflection mechanism is modeled after the human brain’s selective forgetting process. Moreover, all memories are stored locally in an accessible Markdown text format.
