Previously, Hikvision had already raised prices on several other product lines. This latest price adjustment for hard drives primarily targets the distributor channel. In response to ongoing supply and pricing volatility, Hikvision is advising distributors to secure orders and lock in prices at the earliest opportunity. It's worth noting that this is not Hikvision’s first price adjustment, nor is it an isolated incident. Insiders pointed out that the key driver behind this price hike is the persistent pressure stemming from the 'explosive' growth in AI demand.
