In a nation often characterized by its fervent and divisive debates, a remarkable consensus has emerged among 71% of Americans: the pressing need for AI regulation, coupled with a firm belief that the regulators should not be the very creators of AI. To put it in perspective, out of every 100 Americans, a mere 15 hold the view that AI companies are capable of self-regulation.
