Doubao, an AI offering from ByteDance, has commenced grayscale testing for its premium paid subscription service, with a full-scale launch anticipated in late June. During the same timeframe, new features will also be unveiled at the Force Conference. Earlier, in May, Doubao updated its service description on the Apple App Store, disclosing three tiers of paid subscription plans along with their respective prices: Standard, Enhanced, and Advanced Professional. These plans are available with both monthly and annual payment options. The Standard plan is priced at 68 yuan per month or 688 yuan for an annual subscription; the Enhanced plan costs 200 yuan per month or 2,048 yuan annually; and the Professional plan is set at 500 yuan per month or 5,088 yuan for a yearly subscription. The overall pricing approach is tailored to cater to professional productivity scenarios.
