Apple has inked a multi-year cooperation pact with Google, opting to employ Google's Gemini large-scale model as the foundational technology for its next-gen Siri. Capitalizing on this strategic alliance, Google is further solidifying its foothold in the generative AI market. It has done so by slashing the monthly subscription fee for Google AI Plus from $7.99 to $4.99. Concurrently, it is doubling the cloud storage capacity that comes with the subscription, from 200GB to 400GB, in a bid to entice a broader user base.
