On April 20, OpenRouter released its latest data, revealing that the total global call volume for AI large models reached 20.6 trillion Tokens in the previous week (from April 13 to 19), marking a second consecutive week of decline. Focusing on country-specific performance, China's weekly call volume for AI large models dropped to 4.441 trillion Tokens, also experiencing a second consecutive week of decrease, with a significant fall of 23.77%. In contrast, the U.S. witnessed a weekly call volume of 4.908 trillion Tokens for AI large models, representing a week-on-week increase of 20.62% and surpassing China for the first time in nearly two months.

Among the top nine AI large models globally in terms of call volume, four hail from China. DeepSeek V3.2 secured the second position with a weekly call volume of 1.28 trillion Tokens. MiMo-V2-Pro ranked fourth, recording a weekly call volume of 1.15 trillion Tokens, which marked a week-on-week surge of 90%. Additionally, two models from MiniMax made it onto the list: MiniMax M2.5 claimed the sixth spot with a weekly call volume of 1.05 trillion Tokens, while MiniMax M2.7 ranked seventh, experiencing a week-on-week decline of 19% with a call volume of 0.961 trillion Tokens.
