DeepSeek's upcoming new-generation large language model, V4, has been meticulously optimized to ensure seamless compatibility with domestic AI chips, prominently featuring offerings from Huawei. Over the past several months, DeepSeek has engaged in a collaborative effort with Huawei and Cambricon, fine-tuning and rewriting the model's underlying code. This collaborative process has been accompanied by rigorous testing and validation procedures. This time around, V4 places a strong emphasis on ensuring compatibility with domestic chips, with two derivative versions tailored to Chinese chip architectures being developed concurrently. To cater to the burgeoning demands of cloud services, industry leaders such as Alibaba, ByteDance, and Tencent have proactively placed advance orders with Huawei, securing hundreds of thousands of units of its new-generation AI chips.
