After completing a Series C funding round of $250 million in November last year, South Korean fabless AI chip startup Rebellions has recently raised an additional $400 million. This latest funding round was led by Mirae Asset Financial Group and Korea National Growth Fund. The funding comes ahead of the company's planned IPO later this year. Currently, Rebellions is actively pursuing an expansion strategy, aiming to grow its business in Asia and enter the Middle East and U.S. markets. It is reported that Rebellions completed a Series B funding round of $124 million in 2024. To date, the company's cumulative funding has reached $850 million, with $650 million raised in the past six months alone. The company disclosed on Monday that its current valuation is approximately $2.34 billion.
