Meta plans to spend up to $27 billion over the next five years to access cutting-edge artificial intelligence infrastructure from cloud services provider Nebius Group. Starting in early 2027, Nebius will provide Meta with $12 billion worth of dedicated computing power, while Meta also retains the option to purchase up to an additional $15 billion in computing capacity. This expenditure represents one of Meta's largest single contracts to date, underscoring its urgent need to expand computing capacity to support the development of AI products. Notably, Meta signed a separate $3 billion contract with Nebius last year.
