On the morning of February 24, during the 2026 Guangdong Province High-Quality Development Conference, Huawei's Chairman, Liang Hua, announced that the Hongmeng ecosystem is evolving from mere usability to a highly user-friendly platform. Currently, over 40 million terminal devices are equipped with HarmonyOS 5 and HarmonyOS 6. This ecosystem boasts more than 75,000 native applications and cloud services, which find extensive applications across diverse sectors such as finance, electricity, energy, transportation, and communications. Furthermore, 43 leading large-scale models in the industry have been pre-trained using Ascend technology, and over 200 open-source models have been seamlessly integrated into the Ascend ecosystem, facilitating the deployment of over 6,000 innovative solutions.
