A recent report from Amnesty International has revealed that a government client of Intellexa, a manufacturer of surveillance software currently under sanctions, successfully compromised the iPhone of a prominent journalist in Angola using its 'Predator' spyware. This incident is far from isolated; prior instances of 'Predator' software misuse have been documented in Egypt, Greece, Vietnam, and several other regions. The software conceals itself by masquerading as a legitimate system process, silently infiltrating users' devices. Such actions represent a grave violation of personal privacy and undermine the very bedrock of civil society.
