In recent weeks, the enhancement of Apple's Siri virtual assistant has run into hurdles during testing, leading to the likely delay of several eagerly anticipated features. Initially, Apple had intended to integrate these novel functionalities into the iOS 26.4 system, slated for a March release. However, the company is now weighing the option of distributing these features across subsequent system versions. Some features might be pushed back to the iOS 26.5 update in May, or even further to the iOS 27 release in September. The testing phase uncovered several flaws in Siri, such as its failure to accurately interpret user queries, excessively prolonged response times, problems with accuracy, and disruptions when users spoke at a rapid pace.
