Chen Qingquan, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that despite China's rapid development, it still falls short in terms of original innovation. He stressed that technology cannot be simply acquired through financial means; instead, it necessitates a foundation of independent innovation. While China has indeed witnessed remarkable growth over the past three decades, much of this progress has been built upon the existing work of others. Consequently, there remains a pressing need to bolster original innovation efforts. However, taking the "Hangzhou Six Little Dragons" as an illustrative case, China's new generation is already striving towards original innovation and has the potential to take the lead globally, particularly within the realm of new energy vehicles.
