On Thursday, Apple submitted a motion aiming to have a consolidated class-action lawsuit in the United States thrown out. This lawsuit centers around the delays in the functionalities of the Siri voice assistant. The new Siri features that were postponed were initially set to be powered by Apple Intelligence and had been heavily promoted as a key selling feature of the iPhone 16 series.
Currently, the Rosen Law Firm is on the lookout for investors who bought Apple stocks from June 10, 2024, to June 9, 2025, to join the lawsuit. The law firm claims that Apple made misleading statements and kept quiet about the delay in upgrading Siri. This, according to the firm, not only had a detrimental effect on the sales of the iPhone 16 but also caused harm to investors.
