According to the guideline, there will be a concerted push to fully integrate and apply cutting-edge technologies such as AI, next-generation communications, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This integration aims to foster the seamless convergence of transportation infrastructure networks, transportation service networks, energy networks, and information networks.

Simultaneously, the guideline calls for the establishment of a real-time monitoring and intelligent sensing system tailored for industrial facilities and equipment. This system will enable the automatic gathering and continuous monitoring of vital information pertaining to major transportation infrastructure.

Moreover, the departments are committed to expediting the creation of transportation data transmission channels. These channels will seamlessly merge public networks, including 5G, satellite communications, and satellite internet, with specialized industry networks. This strategic move is poised to propel the transformation of new transportation infrastructure, shifting the focus from merely accelerating connectivity to significantly enhancing computational efficiency.
