Today, the Ministry of Transport, in collaboration with seven other departments, jointly released implementation guidelines concerning the integration of 'Artificial Intelligence + Transportation'. These guidelines advocate for an expedited research and development trajectory for products such as intelligent driving systems and remote driving cockpits.
Furthermore, they underscore the necessity of bolstering research, development, and deployment of cutting-edge technologies and equipment, including advanced night vision surveillance and structural integrity assessments for highways. The guidelines also encourage the innovation of novel equipment, exemplified by drones and all-terrain vehicles. They promote the modernization of railway infrastructure, encompassing smart trains, next-generation communication and signaling systems, and intelligent train dispatching mechanisms. Additionally, there is a call to intensify research and development efforts in intelligent marine technology, smart vessels, and maritime intelligent search and rescue apparatus.
