On September 23 (Beijing Time), Reuters broke the news that Nvidia is poised to pour up to a staggering $100 billion into OpenAI. Additionally, it will provide millions of cutting-edge AI chips to bolster the construction of OpenAI's AI data centers. This move has cemented a strategic partnership between the two entities. As part of this collaboration, OpenAI is set to deploy a minimum of 10 gigawatts of Nvidia's systems, which encompass millions of GPUs. Nvidia's investment strategy is incremental; it will gradually inject funds as the computing power becomes operational. Notably, the first data center, built on Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform, is slated for deployment in the latter half of 2026.
