According to German news magazine Der Spiegel, Audi, the premium arm of Volkswagen, is contemplating the construction of a new manufacturing facility in the United States as a strategy to navigate tariff disputes. Among the options being considered is the establishment of a plant in the southern region of the country, albeit at an anticipated cost of up to 4 billion euros (approximately 4.6 billion US dollars). Audi has yet to finalize its decision but aims to solidify a concrete plan at the earliest convenience.
