On May 17, Inner Mongolia's Yimin open-pit mine welcomed the operational launch of the world's first fleet of 100 unmanned electric mining trucks, dubbed "Huaneng Ruichi." This milestone signifies a groundbreaking achievement in facilitating large-scale "vehicle-cloud-network" collaboration within open-pit mining operations, leveraging the cutting-edge 5G-A network. Collaboratively constructed by China Huaneng, XCMG Group, Huawei, and State Grid Smart Vehicle Network, the Yimin mining region has now deployed a 5G-A network, distinguishing it as the globe's first 5G-A open-pit mine. This advanced network boasts an impressive uplink capacity of 500Mbps and ultra-low latency of 20 milliseconds, guaranteeing seamless, round-the-clock operation for over 300 autonomous mining trucks.
