Tesla made an announcement on May 16 that Jack Hartung will become a member of the company's board of directors effective June 1. Hartung currently holds the position of President and Chief Strategy Officer at Chipotle Mexican Grill, a popular restaurant chain, and has previously served as its Chief Financial Officer and Executive Officer. Prior to his tenure at Chipotle, he spent nearly two decades at McDonald's.
