Volkswagen has announced plans to introduce the MEB Plus platform in 2026, which will incorporate cost-effective Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries. Moving forward, all of Volkswagen's pure electric vehicles will be developed on this innovative platform. Notably, the mass-produced Volkswagen ID.2all will be the pioneering model to be equipped with LFP batteries, set for an official launch in 2026.
