According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on the 12th, China's automobile production and sales surpassed 10 million units for the first time in the first four months of the year. Specifically, from January to April, auto production amounted to 10.175 million units, while sales reached 10.06 million units, marking an increase of 12.9% and 10.8% year-on-year, respectively. Notably, new energy vehicles (NEVs) exhibited remarkable growth, with production reaching 4.429 million units and sales totaling 4.3 million units, representing a year-on-year surge of 48.3% and 46.2%. These figures accounted for an impressive 42.7% of total new car sales during the period.
