On May 7, CATL's Tianxing series battery packs, encompassing the B-bus, H-heavy commercial vehicle, and L-light commercial vehicle series, successfully passed the rigorous GB 38031-2025 "Safety Requirements for Traction Batteries for Electric Vehicles" test at esteemed institutions such as the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC), Chongqing Vehicle Research Institute (CVRI), and Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Center. This achievement marks CATL's Tianxing batteries as the first batch of commercial power batteries in China to meet this standard, establishing a new pinnacle of safety benchmarks within the commercial vehicle market.
