Microsoft has introduced a new 12-inch Surface Pro, heralded as the "thinnest and lightest Copilot+ PC" ever, alongside its new 13-inch Surface Laptop. This latest iteration embraces the Surface Pro's iconic design, seamlessly transitioning between a tablet with a built-in kickstand and a laptop with a detachable keyboard. At 686 grams (keyboard not included), its display is more compact than the existing 13-inch models, and it boasts a fanless design for silent operation. Furthermore, Microsoft has opted to replace the proprietary Surface Connect magnetic charging port with USB Type-C for charging, equipping the new Surface Pro with just two of these versatile ports. The device starts at $799 and comes packed with an octa-core Snapdragon X Plus processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
