Xiaopeng Motors intends to introduce and commence mass deliveries of its inaugural flying car, the "Land Aircraft Carrier," in the upcoming year. The factory for mass production is anticipated to be finalized and open for pre-sales in the third quarter of this year, featuring a price tag of no more than $300,000 and an ambitious annual sales goal of 10,000 units. This innovative flying car integrates a terrestrial vehicle body with an aircraft, leveraging a versatile 800V high-voltage platform capable of extended ranges exceeding 1,000 kilometers. The aircraft section can be conveniently folded and stored, allowing operation with a standard Class C driver's license. Initially, sales will be confined to mainland China, with subsequent expansion plans targeting overseas markets, including the Middle East. Additionally, the company aims to secure the aircraft type certificate by the fourth quarter of this year.
