XPeng Motors announced on April 15 that its pioneering flying car, dubbed the "Land Aircraft Carrier," is anticipated to enter mass production and commence widespread deliveries next year. According to Wang Tan, co-founder of XPeng HT Aero, the manufacturing plant for this innovative vehicle will be fully operational by the third quarter, paving the way for pre-sales to commence. The expected price for the flying car in mainland China will not exceed US$300,000, with an ambitious annual sales target of 10,000 units. Initially, the sales focus will be on the mainland Chinese market, with plans to later expand into the Middle East and other international markets under review. Furthermore, the flying car is on track to obtain a Type Certificate (TC) for its flying body in the fourth quarter.
