On April 11, FAW Jiefang unveiled its production and sales figures for March 2025. According to the data, the company sold a total of 27,072 vehicles in March, marking a 21.88% decrease from the 34,654 vehicles sold during the same month last year. Specifically, sales of heavy trucks amounted to 19,987 units, reflecting a 23.34% year-over-year drop; medium truck sales stood at 2,743 units, a decline of 10.36% compared to the previous year; light truck sales totaled 4,320 units, down 21.74%; and passenger vehicle sales amounted to 22 units, up significantly from the mere 2 units sold in March 2024. Cumulatively, for the first quarter of this year, FAW Jiefang sold 75,103 vehicles, which is a 4.28% decrease from the sales recorded during the same period last year.
