On April 10, BMW Group announced its Q1 delivery figures, revealing a global total of 586,149 vehicle deliveries, marking a 1.4% year-on-year decrease. Notably, deliveries in the Chinese market experienced a significant drop of 17%, whereas the European and American markets witnessed increases of 6% and 4%, respectively. Despite the overall slight decline in deliveries, BMW demonstrated robust performance in the electric vehicle segment, with 109,516 pure electric vehicles delivered in Q1, representing a 32.4% year-on-year surge. The BMW Group aims to achieve a milestone of 1.5 million pure electric vehicle deliveries by 2025.
