Audi AG has announced that it will temporarily cease the delivery of new vehicles to US dealerships in response to the 25% import tariff on automobiles imposed by the United States starting April 2. In a communication to its dealers, Audi clarified that any vehicles arriving in the US after this date will be held back, advising dealers to prioritize the sale of their current inventory. Notably, Audi maintains a stockpile of over 37,000 vehicles in the US market that are not subject to the new tariffs, a figure anticipated to suffice sales demands for approximately two months.
