According to Bloomberg, Piyush Goyal, India's Minister of Commerce and Industry, addressed the India Global Forum by stating that while India is actively courting investments from Tesla, it remains firm in imposing market access restrictions on BYD. Goyal emphasized the importance of India being cautious about strategic interests and selectively admitting investors. Currently, India holds a negative stance towards investments from BYD.
