Toyota Motors has ambitious plans to bolster its electric vehicle (EV) portfolio, aiming to increase its EV models to 15 by 2027, a substantial leap from the current five models. The company intends to establish production hubs in Japan, China, the Americas, and Southeast Asia to support this growth. Furthermore, the world's leading automaker aims to significantly ramp up EV production to approximately 1 million units in 2027, marking a sevenfold increase compared to 2024 figures.
